At The Wirral Way, we are passionate about local community AND local businesses, creating a Business Directory to connect local people with local businesses was one of the key goals when I took over the magazine. It's something I'm passionate about (and have talked about doing for 15 years!). It's now taking shape, and the support so far has been humbling.

The goal:

• Accessible advertising for local businesses at an affordable cost (£24 in total per issue, distributed for 3 months in print and online, plus exposure on social media wherever possible)

• A comprehensive & up-to-date directory for the people of the Wirral, produced by local people for local people... and focused on local businesses - not who pays to rank highest in the list.

• Bringing together small businesses and sole traders to support one another.
